Micropatterned Molecules

Micropatterned MoleculesMicrocontact printing by hand is quick and easy, but only affords limited precision and accuracy. So what if you want to engineer culture substrates with multiple micropatterned features each presenting different surface chemistries? Use the SCBRM’s labs novel robotic microcontact printing (R-CP) method. This method allows one to microcontact print substrates multiple times with >10m precision and accuracy in print alignment. Plus, the substrates can be removed from the robot between printings for maximal flexibility in using various surface chemistry reactions to modify micropatterned molecules.
