Lexi Doersch

Lexi graduated with her Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering from UW-Madison in the Spring of 2018. During the summer of 2018, she will continue to assist Alireza with various projects. Lexi will begin her graduate studies pursuing a PhD in BME at the University of Minnesota in the Fall of 2018. Lexi has extensive interests in biomaterials, tissue engineering, and design. Within the Ashton lab, she worked with Alireza on robotic micro-contact printing and soft lithography for neural tissue generation. Work in the Ashton Lab has allowed her to explore her creative side, has inspired her to be inquisitive, and has provided her with top-notch resources and excellent mentors. Lexi’s favorite food is peanut butter and she loves spending time at Memorial Union!
